Corey Samuel Walker, 27, of Claysville, passed away August 10, 2019. He was born August 4, 1992, in San Antonio, Texas, a son of Aliceia C. Lungren Reyes of Claysville. Mr. Walker was a 2011 graduate of McGuffey High School. A very artistic person, he enjoyed drawing, singing, dancing, and making hemp jewelry. He also loved tie-dye and making tie-dye shirts. Corey, which means “Chosen One” in American Indian, loved adventure and was very proud of his Native American ancestry (Cheyenne, Arapaho and Blackfoot). He loved his family and son with all of his heart. Surviving are a son, Caden Samuel; his stepfather, Valdemar Reyes, Jr.; siblings, Christopher E. Walker (Jennifer R.) of Taylorstown, Jimie-Nicole E. Walker (Dylan Musolino) of Bentleyville, Cameron J. Walker of Taylorstown, and Emily M. Reyes of Taylorstown; a niece, Clair M. Walker; uncles Darrell Walter, Carlos Lungren and Walter Lungren, all of the state of California; an aunt, Crystal Hanson, of the state of California; and several cousins. Friends will be received from 4 till 7 p.m., the time of service, on Monday, August 19th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
