Connie J. Shrader, 72, of Amity, died on November 22, 2022, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1950, in Amity, a daughter of the late Jacob Bedillion and Dorothy Yeager. Connie attended Trinity School District, and was retired from Premier Washington Health Center, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed watching Westerns, and going to flea markets, auctions, and the Amish country. Connie enjoyed traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On June 25, 1967, she married Norman “Sam” Leroy Shrader, Sr., who died on December 23, 2009. Surviving are two sons, Norman L. “Bates” (Leatha) Shrader, Jr., and Raymond L. Shrader, both of Amity; three brothers, Carl (the late Karen) Bedillion, of Buffalo Township, Raymond Bedillion, of Washington, and Ronald Bedillion, of Washington; a sister Sandra Luster, of Prosperity; five grandchildren, Justin (Jamie) Shrader, Joshua (Coty Donohew) Shrader, Jerrica (Larry Robison) Shrader, Kenny Shrader, and Daniel (Anna) Shrader; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Lillian, Waylon, Larry, Jr., Dakota and Cheyenne; many nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Roxanne Kalp. Deceased are a grandchild, Marky A. Shrader; a brother, George Bedillion; and a sister, Patty Phillips. Friends and family are welcome on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2022. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
