Clifford Burl Moore, Jr., 71, of Washington, died on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in the Washington Hospital. He was born on May 26, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late Clifford Burl Moore, Sr., and June Matilda Reed Moore. Clifford had worked as a contractor. A member and valued sponsor of the Sunlight Club, he loved to build and repair anything, and made a great goulash. Clifford was a devoted husband, who loved spending time with family and friends. On June 14, 1987, he married Linda Rush, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Clifford (Alyssa) Moore, of Washington, Michael Parker, of Los Angeles, CA, and Brandon (Sirhonda) Phillips, of Washington; three daughters, Stacy (Anthony) Newman, of Aynor, SC, Matilda Jean Moore, of Washington, and Courtney Phillips, of Pittsburgh; four brothers ,Francis (Nancy) Moore, of Washington, Randy Boardley, of Washington, Richard (Michelle) Boardley III, of Washington, and Dave (Sue) Earlywine, of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Mildred (Paul) Haught, of West Virginia, Hope (Jim) Beatty, of Washington, and Sharon (Jim) Lowry, of Florida; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services.
