Clara Agnes Kleinhans, 81, of Prosperity, died on April 14, 2022, in UPMC Mercy Hospital. She was born on May 16, 1940, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late August Joseph and Clara Bott Ricker. A graduate of Trinity High School, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mrs. Kleinhans worked for Ball Glass Corporation, Scotty’s Ice Cream and Bobbie Brooks. Clara enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, doing crafts, and working in her greenhouse. On June 29, 1963, Clara married the love of her life, Charles Kleinhans, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Charles (Sherri) Kleinhans, of Prosperity, and Tim (Mary Jo) Kleinhans, of West Alexander; a daughter, Cathy Kleinhans, of Prosperity; a brother, Richard (Carla) Ricker, of Loxahatchee, FL; eleven grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) Kleinhans, Allison (William) Foster, Sarah (Connor) Fritz, Rachel Kleinhans, Hunter Kleinhans, Caleb Kleinhans, Alicia (Matt) Loar, Ashley (Jason) Kusniez, Jacob Loar, Jeremiah Loar, and Joshua Loar; nine great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Christina Kleinhans; five brothers; three sisters; and one grandchild. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 119 West Chestnut St., Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
