Christopher Alan Cox

Christopher Alan Cox, 53, of Houston, PA, died in his home surrounded by his family Tuesday, December 19, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1970, in Washington, the son of Linda and Ronald Cox. Christopher grew up in Taylorstown and attended McGuffey High School before studying Parks and Recreation at California University of Pennsylvania. Christopher worked at Komatsu Mining, formerly known as Joy Mining, where he made many friends throughout his career. Christopher loved nature and enjoyed fishing, traveling, practicing photography, and attending auctions. Christopher is survived by his wife Keturah Cox; his stepchildren David, Jasmine, and Tyler; his brother Michael; his two sisters Sara and Robin; his mother Linda, and his father Ronald. A private visitation for the family will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington PA 15301, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Christopher requested that his family host a Celebration of Life in his honor.
