Cheryl Elaine Brown

Cheryl Elaine Brown, 59, of Washington, died January 16, 2022, in her home. She was born January 1, 1963, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Delores Lunsford of Washington and the late Nelson Thomas Brown. Cheryl was a homemaker who loved music and dancing and enjoyed nature. Her grandchildren were her life. Cheryl is survived by a son Russell Brown, of Washington; daughter, Nyieka Speer, of Washington; brother, Nelson S. Brown, of Berlin, Germany; sisters, Debra A. Brown, of Washington, Terry L. Brown, of Hagerstown, MD, and Jacqueline K. Lacks, of Washington; grandchildren, Darnell Steven Russell Brown, Jr., Jermaine Brown, Myairah Brown, Deandre Brown, Darius Brown, Amour Brown, Javian, Alena, Kendell, Ky’Leona Group, Peso Porter, Kaleyah Heckard, Za’kory Sadler, Kanen Brown; her lifetime companion, Curtis Tripplett; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Cheryl was preceded in death by her sons, Darnell Steven Russell Brown and Troy Lamont Saunders-Brown. All services were private.
