Charlie Wright, 91, of East Finley Township, died Sunday, October 15, 2017, in his home. He was born February 23, 1926, in East Finley, a son of Herman Albert Wright and Grace Hewitt Wright. During the Korean War, Mr. Wright served in the Army with the 712th Transportation Railroad Battalion. He worked as a driver for an auto auction. Mr. Wright was a member of Roadside Chapel, where he enjoyed playing guitar during church services. He also enjoyed road trips, camping, spending time at East Finley Park, and spending time with friends and family. His first wife, Mary Phillips Wright, died in September 1970. On November 26, 1971, he married Romaine Loughry, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Chuck Wright of Washington, Dan (Penny) Wright of Claysville, Rick Livingood (Becky) of Claysville and Dane (Janel) Livingood of Washington; four daughters, Debbie Keenan of Claysville, Tammy (Arlan) Bethel of Ohio, Donna McCartney of Washington and Beth Noel of Claysville; a sister, Edith (Howard) Crouse of Graysville; 31 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. Deceased are two daughters, Sherry Wright Cardamone and Susan Livingood Bova; a son, Mark Livingood; and a granddaughter, Mindy Wright. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in Roadside Chapel, Pleasant Grove, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 19th, with Pastor Bobby Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
