Carol Sue Golna

Carol Sue Golna was born on August 31, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of the late Glenn Cline and Gladys Frazee Cline. Carol passed peacefully on August 14, 2023, with her family by her side. Carol was a 1973 graduate of Avella High School. She was a homemaker who also had lengthy careers in the hospitality, medical and manufacturing industries. She lived life with optimism and faced all challenges with unrelenting determination, strength and courage. Carol enjoyed sports, be it participating or spectating, and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. On May 27, 1978, she married the love of her life, William D. Golna, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Melissa (Christopher) Graham of North Carolina; a son, Behn (Erin) Golna of Washington; two grandsons, Brody and Hunter Golna; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Deceased is a brother, Glenn Cline, Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
