Carmen Nick Perry, 86, of Washington, died November 8, 2021. He was born December 7, 1934, in West Virginia, the son of the late Antonio and Rose Gallone Perry. Carmen graduated from Trinity High School and was an electric furnace operator for Jessop Steel. He was past president of the Alpine Club and was a member of the American Legion Post 175. Carmen proudly served his country in the US Navy. He loved spending time with family and friends and playing cards. On April 6, 1962, Carmen married Carmela Angelillo, who died August 18, 2018. Surviving is a son, Carmen (Joyce Korowicki) Perry, of Washington; daughters, Tina (Donald Gshinsky) Perry, and Tami (Jan) Avolia, all of Washington, and Lynette (Ted) Otter, of Florida; brother, Paul (Debbie) Perry, of Missouri; sisters, Victoria Nath, of Florida, and Tina DiPiano, of New Jersey; grandchildren, Nikki (Josh) Kolkedy, Shauntae (Steven) Post, Toni (Loren) Perry, Jared Clemens, Sabrina (Chance) Wyland, Vance (Destiny) Wyland, and Trey Larson; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Carmen was predeceased by daughter, Luanne; brother, Anthony; sisters, Annie and Mary; and grandson, Travis. Family and friends will be received Friday, November 12, 2021, from 2-5 pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Susan Clegg officiating.
