Carl Albert Pryor, 84, of Washington, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born March 23, 1934, in Washington, a son of the late Victor and Alma Wilson Pryor. Mr. Pryor worked as a machine operator at Brockway Glass for 30 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening and home remodeling projects. In addition, he was a Pirates and Steelers fan and enjoyed traveling, visiting family in Colorado, and spending time with his family. Mr. Pryor was a member of the Church of Christ. On June 25, 1955, he married Patricia Ann Holmes, who died February 26, 1995. Surviving are four children, Carla Miller, Alan Pryor (Diane Loar), Pam Kelley (John Kelley) and James Pryor (Penny Seaman); seven grandchildren, Valerie Miller, Michael Miller (Ashley), Gordon Miller Jr. (Renee) , Lee Pryor, Shea Pryor, Scott Kelley (Brianna), and Matt Pryor (Amanda Trapuzzano); six great-grandchildren, Tyler McKinney, Dylan Miller, Peyton Miller, Brooklyn Miller, Harmony Pryor and Briley Pryor; Diane’s children, Amber Loar (Brad Barnhart), Mallory Mayer (Tom), Vanessa Manfredi (Ethan) and Rick Loar; two brothers Duane “Beau” Pryor (Patty) and Olan Pryor (Loretta); and his companion, Betty Haligowski, and her children, Marion Haligowski and Shelley Swan. Deceased, in addition to his wife, are a grandson, Cody Miller; a son-in-law, Gordon Miller; four brothers; and one sister. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 8th. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
