Candy Lynn Klaus

Candy Lynn Klaus, 53, of Washington, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, in her home, surrounded by family. She was born January 11, 1971, in Washington, a daughter of the late Donna Lou McKinney. Candy previously worked as an aide at Candlelight Assisted Living and Sarris Candies. She then stayed home to raise her children and later would watch over her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, and wood crafting. She loved Sunday family time and dinners. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. On August 25, 2001, she married Guy Klaus, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Robert “Robbie” Klaus (Erica Roberts), Brandon Klaus (Krystal Ames), Dustin (Dakota) Klaus and Ryan Dunn Klaus; two brothers, Michael Delvecchio and Brian (Lori) Dunn; 11 grandchildren, Brantley, Aaleyah, Landon, Lydia, Autumn, Ryder, Lily, Carson, Everleigh, Arabella and Blakely Klaus; her stepfather, Kenneth “Kenny” Statler; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Deceased is a brother, Donald Delvecchio. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, June 16, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.
