C. Nancy Podboy

C. Nancy Insana Podboy, 92, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born March 25, 1932, in Washington, daughter of the late Gabriel and Concetta Cantanese Insana. Nancy attended Washington High School. She was employed as a selector, packer and inspector at Owens Brockway Glass, and previously worked at Washington Hospital. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Nancy was a lifetime member of the Alpine Club. She loved the Casino, bowling, listening and dancing to polka music. She was a friend to everyone and a loving Mom and Grandma. Nancy was predeceased by her first husband, Carl W. Fish; her second husband, Russell Podboy; sisters, Mary Roux and Ann Lasalvia; and brother Tony Insana. Surviving are her sons, Allen K. Fish (Cindy) and Bill Fish (Christi); stepchildren David Podboy (Barbara) and Jim Podboy (Donna); grandchildren, Julie, Michael (Katie), Nathan (Ashley), Janelle (John); great grandchildren, Lucas, Nicholas, Dakota, Joy, Aubrey, Bailey, Jacob, and Von; a brother, Frank Insana; as well as many special nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Garden Cemetery.
