Brian K. Berry, 65, passed away peacefully in his home Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born May 26, 1958, in Washington, to the late Walter and Jane Arleen Berry. Mr. Berry was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School. He was a member of the Royal Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corp from 1973-1979. He was a drummer in the Silver Sky Band from 1980-1999. Mr. Berry worked at GE Nuclear in Canonsburg, until they shut down. He finished out his employment with Accutrex Productions, where he retired. He married LeaAnn Moore on June 7, 1986. They raised two children together. Mr. Berry was a music lover from an early age when he began playing drums at the age of three. In his spare time, he loved to DJ events and spread his love of music. He helped many local high schools with their drumlines. He was an avid shooter who took many gun safety courses on the range. He is survived by wife LeaAnn; daughter Jaclyn (Cody) Ketchem and grandchildren Kinzlea, Kolson, Kooper and Karisyn Ketchem; son Brent (Aubrey) Berry and grandson Beckham Berry; mother Jane Arleen Berry; brother Brad (Sharon) Berry; and three nieces. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, with Pastor Rob Fetty officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
