Brenda Joyce Jordan, 75, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in the Donnell House, Washington, after a courageous fight with pulmonary fibrosis. She was born October 28, 1949, in Cumberland, Maryland, a daughter of the late John Edward Fisher and Helen Elaine Fletcher Fisher. Brenda was a graduate of Trinity High School and had worked as a bank teller at Washington Financial, for over 10 years. She was a longtime member of Church of Christ in Washington, where she taught bible class and volunteered on a regular basis. Brenda enjoyed reading her bible, crafts, sewing and collecting angel figurines and thimbles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. On May 10, 1975, she married Robert Jordan Jr., who survives. Surviving are a son, Robbie (Alyssa) Jordan III; a daughter, Heather (Robert Mahoney) Jordan; two grandchildren, Ireland and Issack; three sisters, Karen (Michael) Willard, Bonnie (Shannon) Russ and Alison (Gregory) Musgrave; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Roger Fisher. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
