Bobby Gene Mcelwee Jr

Bobby Gene “Bob” McElwee, Jr. 55, of Rockmart, Georgia passed away on October 26, 2017, in Washington, PA.  He was born February 27, 1962, in Laredo, Texas, a son of Bobby Gene McElwee Sr., and the late Teresa Maria Munoz McElwee.  Mr. McElwee had an associate’s degree.  He worked at Plant Bowen as a Turbine Technician for more than twenty years.  Bob really enjoyed working on houses, which kept him busy all the time, and he loved going to the beach.  On June 28, 2009, he married Cindy J. Moore, who survives.  He is also survived by a daughter Casandra (Thomas) Hayes; two brothers, Gary (Jenny) McElwee and Joe McElwee; a granddaughter, Lydia Hayes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, Jim (Dot) Moore, Brenda (Harry) Phillips, Lisa (Kevin) Miller, Floyd (Denise) Moore, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday October 30, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
