Beverly Lynn Hackney

Beverly Lynn Hackney, 63, died Sunday, September 19, 2021, in The Washington Hospital. She was born January 31, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of the late Raymond Clark Hackney and Evelyn Lucille Wood Hackney. Bev was a graduate of McGuffey High School and had worked at Club 40. She was a long-time member of South Franklin Ladies Auxiliary. Bev enjoyed spending time with family, friends, her beloved grandson, Julian, and cat, Oreo. Surviving are a son, Justin Hackney; grandson, Julian Hackney; two brothers, William Hackney and Brian (Lori) Hackney; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, all of Washington. In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Hackney and Brenda Bennett; one brother, Brad Hackney; and one niece, Cassie Hackney. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 10 am- 11 am, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.
