Beulah "Boo" Harris

April 9, 1926 — June 26, 2024

Boo Harris, 98, of Washington, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Southmont Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born on April 9, 1926, in Bradford, PA, daughter of the late William John Leonard Sr. and Myrtle Viola Leonard. Boo is predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Harris who died in 2003; her daughter, Linda S. Harris, who died in 2021; and eight siblings. Boo was a lifetime member of the Glenn Street Free Methodist Church and served in many positions. She loved to worship and learned how to use a tablet so when she was unable to attend in person she could worship online. Besides spending time with family and friends her favorite things to do were to puzzle and read books. Surviving are daughter Velda Hartman (Bob); sons Richard “Rick” Harris (Debbie), Scott Harris, and Robert “Rob” Harris (Valerie); five grandchildren, Nic, Jodi (Joe), Holly, Tyler, and Alden; four great-grandchildren, Everett, Walker, Holden, and Miles; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, with Pastor Bob Neal officiating. Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. The family is grateful for the special care given to Boo at Southminster Place and Southmont Presbyterian Care. Memorial contributions may be made to Glenn Street Free Methodist Church, 690 Glenn Street, Washington, PA 15301.
