Betty E. Rutan, 83, of Washington, died October 29, 2023, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 2, 1940, in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Timothy Ross and Dorothy Ruth Beach Anderson. Betty was a waitress at Curinga’s Restaurant for thirty-eight and a half years, until they closed. On August 23, 1974, Betty married Donald W. Rutan, Sr., who died June 10, 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Cassandra Hope Bolasci (Frank), of New Jersey, Wendy Dian Corazzi (Leno), of Fredericktown, Dawn Rae Leonard (Jeff), of Monongahela, and Tara Renee Denman (Tim), of Washington; eight grandchildren, Craig Alan King, II (Heather), Brandon Michael King (Linda), Leno Albert Corazzi, II, Steven Paul Corazzi, Benjamin Joseph Leonard, Garrett Bryner, Wesley Wray Denman, Wyatt Cole Denman; four great-granddaughters; and two, great-grandsons. Betty was preceded in death by one sister, and five brothers. Family was so important to Betty, she loved spending time with her children as they grew, and then welcoming her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All services are private.
