Betty Jane Nester

Betty Jane Nester, 68, of Breezewood, PA, died July 10, 2021, at Bedford UPMC, Everett, PA. She was born February 6, 1953, in Washington, the daughter of the late Charles and Freda Smith Headley, Sr. Betty graduated from Washington High School and was a homemaker. She loved flowers, gardening, and cooking. On January 6, 1975, Betty married Donald Nester, who survives. Also surviving are sons, John Nester of Breezewood, PA, and Gary Nester of Pittsburgh; daughter, Danielle Nester of Martinsburg, PA; brother, Charles (Ellen) Headley, Jr. of Washington; sisters, Freda Ruth Kinter of Ohio, Julie White of Washington, and Debbie Holmes of Washington; grandchildren, Alexander and Connor Neuder. Betty was preceded in death by her sister Leora Headley. At the request of the deceased, all services were private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.
