Betty Brookman Bricker, 87, of Washington, died December 23, 2021, in Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born March 22, 1934, in Washington, a daughter of the late Earl Brookman and Catherine McAnany Brookman. A graduate of Trinity High School, Mrs. Bricker was a former supervisor at Bobbie Brooks and an office manager at Drs. Finder and Spatz. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed her extensive travel with the Washington Socialites. Mrs. Bricker was a member of First Christian Church, where she was an elder, and was involved with Stephen Ministries. On October 18, 1952, she married Keith Benson Bricker, who died December 31, 2014. Surviving are three daughters, Catherine (Donald) Frederico, Sharon (Andrew) Lucas, and Robin (John) Hughes; two brothers, Donald Brookman and Wayne (Judy) Brookman; grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Lucas, Michael (Emily) Lucas, Marissa (Zachary) Lucas Miller, Brian Frederico, Stephen Frederico, Alyssa Frederico, and Kristen Hughes; great-grandchildren, Macie, Benson, Levi, and Elsie Lucas, and Lacey Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deceased is a brother, William Brookman. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 28th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be private in Washington Cemetery.
