Betty Fern Bell

Betty Fern Bell, 76, of Washington, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Washington Hospital. She was born on January 15, 1949, in Washington, daughter of the late Charles Allen and Betty Anderson Allen. Betty attended Trinity High School. She was always cheerful and happy, especially when spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She loved watching TV, especially wrestling, The Walking Dead and Supernatural. On November 5, 1960, she married her loving husband, Ray Edward Bell Sr. Also surviving are four children, Ray Edward Bell, Jr. (Janet), Tammy Lynn Hindman (George), Crystal Lynn Bell (Rick) and Sandra Denise Bell; her sister, Sandra Kay Ellifritz; grandchildren Betty Denise Robison (Markie), Ray Edward Bell, III (Teresa), Raymond William Bell, Brandon Lee Bell (Kara), Robert Scott McCartney, Jr. (Taylor), Terrance William Davis, III, Gary Michael McFall and Angel Denise McFall; and great-grandchildren Sabrina, Lily, Markie, Remington, Kennedy, Daniel, Jonas, Serenity, and Marie. She is preceded in death by infant brother, Charles; sisters Snookie, Murt and Shirt; and great-grandson Robert Scott McCartney, III. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
