Ben Durrah Henry, 83, of Washington, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, in his home. He was born on March 21, 1941, in Graysville, a son of the late Ben Henry and Hazel Durrah Henry. Ben was a graduate of Washington High School and received an associate’s degree in drafting from the Washington Institute of Technology. He served in the U.S. Navy. Ben previously worked for B&O Railroad and Ball Glass and was self-employed selling collectibles at flea markets. He called himself “the flea” because he loved working and attending flea markets and collecting antiques. He was very crafty and enjoyed woodworking and building hotrods. Surviving are his children, Charise Durik, Tammy Fazzolare, Tracy Henry, Stephen Henry, Benji Henry, Melissa Henry and Jonathan Henry; two sisters, Oma and Lillian; one brother, Pat; grandchildren, Shelby, Devin, Summerly, Jonathan, Bailey, Kelsey and Brody; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are his companion, Mildred Ritter; his son, Brian Henry; his siblings, Robert, Johnny, Michael, Rex, Charles, Ruth, Rebecca and two infants.
