Barbara A. Ross

Barbara A. Ross, 72, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her home. She was born August 5, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Waltl and Louise Kosovec Waltl. Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Union High School and a 1968 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was a licensed registered nurse at Washington Hospital until her retirement in 2011. Her greatest joy after retirement was being a “Grammy” and spending time with her beloved rescue dog, Coco. Surviving is her son Scott (Missy) Ross of Bridgeville; a brother David (Karan) Waltl of Washington; a sister Terry (George) Waltl of Burgettstown; grandchildren Roman and Rocco; and nieces Lindsay (Melissa) Waltl, Katie Friend; and nephew Steven Waltl. Barbara was preceded in death by her son Sean E. Ross. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
