Barbara Joan Moulden, 88, of Houston, died Saturday, December 12, 2020, in The Greenery, Canonsburg. She was born June 28, 1932, in Smallwood, a daughter of the late Patrick Bovines and Helen Pawluk Bovines. Mrs. Moulden graduated from Washington High School in 1950. She was a self-employed photographer at Norman’s Studio of Photography in Mt. Lebanon, which she co-owned with her husband for over 40 years. Mrs. Moulden was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. On October 31, 1954, she married Norman T. Moulden, who died April 2, 2003. Surviving are a son, Mark J. (Marianne) Moulden of Bethel Park; a brother, Donald Bovines of Florida; a sister, Leslie Shaffer of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Austin, Thomas Moulden, Melissa (Wesley) Howard, Michelle (Jordan) Bonham, and Megan (Brett) Moorman; and eight great-grandchildren, Lily, Abby and Lucy Austin, Ryan, Sean and Grant Howard, Libby Bonham, and Zachary Moorman. Deceased is a son, Peter Moulden. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 17, in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadowlands, with Father Carmen D’Amico as celebrant. A maximum of 50 people will be permitted in the church and all attending must wear a face covering. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
