Audra Corinne Young

Audra Corinne King Young, of Washington, died October 5, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born June 28, 1952, a daughter of the late Margaret June Davis and the late James E. King, Sr. Audra was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and Clarion State College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She spent her teaching career at Allison Park Elementary School. On November 17, 1979, Audra married Charles R. Young, Jr., who survives. Audra attended Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She spent a lot of time quilting, sewing, and baking. Audra loved spending time with her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, William Young, of Bethel Park; a daughter, Erica (Kirby) Blass, of La Plata, Maryland; a brother, Jimmy (Nancy) King, of Burgettstown; three grandsons, Henry Blass, Jacob Young, and Simon Blass. Deceased in addition to her parents, are her sister, Laurel King, and her daughter-in-law, Jessica Malaskovitz Young. Family and friends will be received Sunday, October 9, 2022, 4:00 until 6:00 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, the place of service on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
