Anne Elizabeth Rush

Anne Elizabeth Rush, daughter of the late Joseph Elza Rush and Julia VanDyke Rush, was born August 22, 1926, at Lone Pine, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School (now Bentworth) and Washington Seminary. She worked for Mellon Bank’s Washington Office for 40 years. Ms. Rush was a member of The First Christian Church of Washington, and a member of the Washington County Chapter, D.A.R. She was the last of her immediate family. She passed peacefully and surrounded by love on August 1, 2018. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at The First Christian Church of Washington, 615 East Beau Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, on Monday, August 27, 2018, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Stephen T. Smythers will officiate. All are welcome to attend. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian.
