Anita M. Lehew

Anita M. Lehew, 65, of Prosperity, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in her home. She was born September 6, 1959, in Washington, a daughter of the late Harold K. Bell and Olga Piechnik Tutay. Anita was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Duquesne University. She was employed by Washington Hospital for many years and then went on to work at Reliant Energy and lastly Range Resources as an administrative assistant. She was also owner of Olga’s Polish Nut Rolls. Anita was a member of the Washington Alliance Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and skeet shooting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends and her pets. On October 17. 1998, she married Michael A. Lehew, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Destiny Lehew, Tamara Lehew, Kim (the late John) Przystup and Michele (Jack) Currie; two grandchildren, Devin Przystup and Dakota Moore; a great-granddaughter, Lakin Baker; a sister, Debbie (Bob) Abrams; a nephew, Shawn Ruse; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John (Twila) Lehew. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Beverly Ruse; her stepfather, Edward Tutay; and her stepmother, Diana Bell. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
