Alma Pearl Scott, 92, of Washington, died June 19, 2023, in Transitions Healthcare of Washington. She was born August 18, 1930, in Waynesburg, the daughter of Patsy and Dulcie Swisher Milliken. Alma attended Rogersville High School. She helped with odd jobs and cleaning at the Christian Church of North America, where she was a member of the congregation and the Women’s Group. Alma enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing bingo, collecting baby dolls, and traveling. She also loved to cook and bake, especially pies and bread. On May 2, 1948, Alma married Roy K. Scott, who is deceased. Surviving is a son, Terry (Joyce) Scott; seven daughters, Sandra Louk, Linda (Dennis) Stanley, Debra (Ronald DeMoss) Ankrom, Brenda (Dave) Welch, Pamela DeMoss, Sharon (Jeff) Poland, and Lora Scott; a brother, John Milliken; a sister, Patricia Dashofy; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Alma was preceded in death by a daughter, Elisa Scott; brothers, Dale, and Jim Milliken; a sister, Janice Milliken; grandchildren, Nicklos and Jennifer; and great-grandson, Sean Michael. Family and friends will be received at Christian Church of North America, Thursday, June 22, 2023, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The service will also be at the church, on Friday, June 23rd at 11 am with Pastor Rob Berk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Christian Church of North America, 605 Shirls Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Burial to follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
