Allene M. Lash

Allene Mildred Lash, 87, of McDonald, Mt. Pleasant Township, died Friday, June 2, 2017, in Washington County Health Center.   She was born August 21, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Walter and Lillian Crumrine Williams.   A 1948 graduate of Peters Township High School, Mrs. Lash was a homemaker and member of Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed dogs, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and the many friends she considered as extended family.   Mrs. Lash was a long-time volunteer for the Mt. Pleasant Apple Festival.   On August 28, 1948, she married Robert Lash, who survives.   Also surviving are two sons, David (Lisa) Lash of Hickory and Jeff (Terry) Lash of Graysville; two daughters, Patty (the late James) Ross and Karen Lash, both of Hickory; 11 grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.   Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 7th, with Pastor Lou Templeton officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.   Family has requested memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
