Alice Marie Wood

On March 1, 2018, God called Alice Marie Wood back into his arms following her battle with cancer. She was born May 18, 1944 in Washington Hospital, South Pittsburgh. One of 15 children to Henry and Georgia Crowe, Alice is preceded in death by siblings Melvin, Chuck, Wilma, Virginia, Esther, and Martha Ann. She is survived by brothers Tom, Richard, Bob, and Allan and sisters Gladys, Millie, Ruth, and Ruby. Alice married her true love, Floyd T. Wood Jr., on April 8, 1986. They were married for 31 years and remained together until her passing.  Alice has three sons: Mike and Kevin (Terri) of Washington and Kenny (Andrea) of Seattle. Alice has 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. An open memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, Alice asked that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
