Alice G. Grimm

Alice G. Barrows Grimm, 97 years old, of Michigan Avenue, Washington, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born January 28, 1924, in Washington. She was the daughter of George and Nellie Meeks Barrows. On November 10, 1943, she married Robert E. Grimm, who died August 12, 1994. She was retired from Western State Hospital. Alice loved being with her family. She enjoyed visiting the casino and was an active Goodwill shopper. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Woods, Mrs. Donna (Ronald) Korba, and Mrs. Peggy O’Bryan; as well as one sibling, George (Peggy) Barrows; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Deceased is one granddaughter, Kimberly Woods, and three sisters, Peggy Carginie, Florence Keeney, and Norma Jean Cuff. Friends and family will be received Saturday, July 10, 2021, 1:00 -4:00 p.m., the time of service, in William Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
