Alice M. Depaoli

Alice M. DePaoli, 92, of Washington, passed away on September 18, 2022, at Premier Healthcare in Washington. Born on March 1, 1930, the daughter of the late George McMasters and Icy Burgess McMasters. On November 22, 1967, she married the late Adolph “Dutch” DePaoli. Throughout her years, Alice worked at various local restaurants as a waitress. She absolutely loved cooking, making spaghetti dinners on Sundays, and playing cards with her family. Aside from cooking, she also enjoyed baking at Christmas time for the grandkids and celebrating all the holidays with them. Alice loved the casinos and going to different racetracks, traveling to Atlantic City with Dutch, and bargain shopping, especially at K-Mart. Alice is survived by her son, Bill (Dianna) Miles of Washington, and her daughter, Deborah Cumer of Florida. Her grandchildren, Stephen Miles, Tina (Bo) Mazurik, Joseph (Lori) Miles, Ben (April) Cumer, Doug (Joy) Cumer, Jodie Miles, and Robert Miles. Great-grandchildren, Shawn Cumer, Abby Wayman, Owen Wayman, Seth Cumer, Jack Miles, Bodie Cumer, Kayla Bonnett, and Elise Miles. Also surviving is a sister, Edna Plants of Youngstown, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are three children; Robert Miles, Kenneth (Donna) Miles, and Kathleen McGuire, as well as five siblings; James Rosen, John McMasters, Betty White, Florence Rosen, and Goldie Homes. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301. Funeral service will be private.
