Margie Kay Miller

Margie Kay Miller, 62, of Washington, died Thursday, September 22, 2005, in the Washington Hospital following a very brief illness. She was born in Washington on April 13, 1943, a daughter of the late Oliver L. and Judy Stolfer Hanam. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Trinity High School and Irene’s Beauty School. She had once been a self-employed Beautician. She worked more than twenty-five years as a teacher assistant at the Intermediate Unit One and had recently retired. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cross-stitching, traveling, and camping at Seneca Lake. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retiree’s and the First Lutheran Church of Washington. On April 5, 1964, she married William B. Miller, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Yvonne ( Randy ) Vermillion of Cambridge, Ohio, and Tracy ( Michael ) Wright of Washington; a brother, Donald Leroy Hanam of Parker, Colorado; a sister, Sandra Rea of Washington; a grandchild, Jessica Bayly; and several nieces and nephew as well as one great-niece. Friends of Margie Kay Miller, 62, of Washington, who died Thursday, September 22, 2005, will be received on Saturday, from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington. Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2005, at 11:00 am, in the First Lutheran Church, North Franklin & Walnut Street, Washington, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating.
