Paul Gerald Miller

Member of Third United Presbyterian Church. Paul Gerald Miller, 75, of Washington, died at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born September 20, 1930, in West Brownsville, a son of Wilbur W. and Eleanor Shriver Miller. He was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church in Washington and was a 1948 graduate of Beallsville High School. He had formerly been employed at Duncan Miller Glass for five years. He had been employed as a supervisor at Washington Co. for 22 years. He retired from Trinity Area School District, where he had been employed as a custodian. He enjoyed camping and working on lawn mowers. On October 20, 1951, he was united in marriage to J. Marian Ross, who survives. They celebrated 54 years of marriage. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Robert and wife Cindy of Washington; four daughters, Debbie and husband Donald Baker of Wellsburg, W.Va., Pam and husband Chuck LaBella of Washington, Linda and husband Kevin Klages of Wellsburg, W.Va., and Diane and husband Dave Gump of Washington; three brothers, William Miller of Beallsville, Barry Miller of Scenery Hill and Larry Miller of Richeyville; three sisters, Dorothy Lynn of Beallsville, Ann Luketich of Beallsville and Sandra Rush of McDonald, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Brian and Eric Engle, Beth Carpenter, Ian Miller, Jill Phillips, Jeremy LaBella, Zachary and Brandon Klages and David and Cody Gump; a stepgrandson, Donald Baker Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild. Deceased is a grandson, Jason LaBella; and an infant brother, Robert Miller. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating, followed by interment in Washington Cemetery.
