Mary D. Beverina

Mary D. Beverina, 76, Washington, died unexpectedly at 12:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, in Washington County Health Center. She was born May 11, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Henry and Mary Tomassini Beverina. Miss Beverina was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She had once worked at Duncan Miller Glass and later at Hazel-Atlas, but most recently was a homemaker. Miss Beverina especially enjoyed dart ball and played for the Jessop Club for forty years and for the Fraternal Order of Eagles #687. Surviving are one sister, Caroline Forgas of Washington; nieces, Joyce Novak, Carolyn Celani, Barbara Allen, Colleen Craig, Danise Moore and Yvonne Weaver; nephews, Lewis Nichols and Michael Forgas; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Deceased are four brothers, Henry, Carl J., Julius C., and Dominic Beverina; and three sisters, Ennes Beverina Borkowski, Ida Nichols, and Theresa Witchoski. Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services.
