Randy Stewart Mcconnell

Randy Stewart McConnell, 46, of Washington, died Monday, May 21, 2007, in Donnell House, following a yearlong illness. He was born May 24, 1960, in Washington a son of Russell McConnell of Washington and the late Sarah Stewart McConnell. Mr. McConnell graduated from Trinity High School in 1978 and worked as an equipment operator for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 26 years. He enjoyed all sports and especially enjoyed spending time with his youngest daughter, Shayla. On April 23, 1994, he married Krista Lynn Bishop, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Shayla Marie McConnell, at home, Julie (Nick) Biris, of Charleroi, and Jennifer McConnell of Charleroi; one brother, James Russell (Amy) McConnell of Claysville; and a granddaughter, Abigail Biris. Friends will be received 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at Noon on Thursday, May 24, 2007, with Rev. Paul Harrington officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
