Edith Ann Tatterson

Edith Ann Tatterson, 69, of North Strabane Township, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 26, 1939, in Atlasburg, a daughter of Frank and Mary Lazar Stroen. Ms. Tatterson worked as a clerical supervisor for the Department of Public Welfare for 35 years. She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Tatterson loved her Maltese, Little Moe. Surviving are two sisters, Mary Trusnovic and Alice Zadakis, both of Washington; two nephews, William Daniel Trusnovic Jr. of Washington and Charles (JoAnn) Zadakis, III of Harrisburg; and two great nephews, William Trusnovic and Matthew Trusnovic, both of Maryland. Deceased are two brothers-in-law, William Trusnovic and Charles Zadakis Jr. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20th, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Thomas O’Neil as celebrant. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
