Frances Liptak, 91, of Washington, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005, in Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care, North Jackson, Ohio, following a three-year illness. She was born August 6, 1914, in Washington, a daughter of Michael and Frances Gobernut Reichert. Mrs. Liptak was a homemaker who worked in the family grocery store on Griffith Avenue, Washington. She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed bingo. In 1934, she married John F. Liptak, who died November 13, 1986. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Liptak of Poland, Ohio, and John Liptak of Kingwood, Texas; four grandchildren, R. Gude Liptak of Williamsburg, Va., Zachery Liptak, a student at Notre Dame, Christopher Liptak of Dallas, Texas, and Laura Liptak of Houston, Texas. Deceased are two brothers, Tony and Charles Reichert; and four sisters, Mary Scewc, Bertha Holden, Stella Reichert and Loretta A. Lerch.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2005, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, 340 Henderson Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neil as celebrant. Burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
