Agnes Cecelia Hennick

Agnes Cecelia Hennick, 87, of Washington, died September 20, 2008, in Hillsview Nursing Home. She was born February 7 1921, in Indiana County, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Galciovich Harkeli. She was Catholic by Faith. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxillary for the American Legion, Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175. She enjoyed baking, shopping, washing clothes and sewing. On November 3, 1943, in Follansbee, WV she was united in married to George William Hennick who died March 24, 1994. Surviving are a son, Richard (Joyce) Hennick, and a daughter, Betty J. (Lawrence) Phillips, both of Washington; Four Grandchildren, William Phillips, Khristie Schmidt, and Richard Lee and Bryan Michael Hennick; and three Great grandchildren, Cassandra and Emily Schmidt, and Lillian Gorben; a sister in-law, Eileen Harkeli, of Wilmington, Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are her brother, John Harkeli, and sister, Clara Randazzo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, with Pastor Fran Skariot officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
