Self-employed roofer was Canton police officer
Steve Krajacic, 89, of Washington, died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in Washington County Health Center, Washington. He had been in declining health for two and a half years.
He was born August 25, 1916, in Washington, a son of Anton and Philomena Stanfel Krajacic.
Mr. Krajacic was a self-employed roofer and in the late 1950s was a Canton Township police officer.
He was a member of the Bears Club of Meadow Lands and Polish Club in Washington.
On October 28, 1961, he married Joan Senay, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Paul Edward (Christy) Krajacic of Canonsburg; a daughter, Kathleen Krajacic at home; a brother, Mike Krajacic of Washington; four sisters, Helen Kovacicek of Washington, Julie Dunkovich of Florida, Annie Powell of Elizabeth and Stella March of Harrisburg.
Deceased are his twin brother, John Krajacic; two brothers, Tony and Frank Krajacic; and three sisters, Barbara Karpan, Catherine Krajacic and Mary Bologa.
There will be no public visitation. Mr. Krajacic requested his body be donated to science.
