Catherine Adeline Bell

Former member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. Catherine Adeline Bell, 70, of Eighty Four, died at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a lingering illness. She was born April 2, 1935, in Thomas, a daughter of Jessie McCartney Kennell. She had been a former employee of Marshall’s in Scott Township and a former member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling and was a 1953 graduate of East Washington High School. On October 18, 1996, she remarried Glenn Willard Bell Sr., who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Glenn Bell Jr., Michael David Bell and Jeffrey Eugene Bell, all of Eighty Four, Keith Lynn Bell of Marianna and Kevin Lee Bell of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Candace Susan Bell of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Ernest David Kennell of Lorraine, Ohio, Clyde Emerson Kennell of Columbus, Ohio, and Kenneth Kennell of Washington; three sisters, Ruby Tubb of Vallejo, Calif., Sylvia McVehil of Washington and Gloria Plants of Avella; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 9, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Gardens.
