Gaylord E. Chadwick

Prosperity farmer. Gaylord Chadwick, 66, of Prosperity, died unexpectedly at 2:20 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, in Washington Hospital. He was born June 11, 1939, in South Franklin Township, a son of Hiram V. and Florence Ealy Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick was a farmer who enjoyed his friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed collecting dog figurines and knick-knacks. Surviving are four brothers, Oliver Ealy (Thelma) Chadwick of Prosperity, Hershel (Caroline) Chadwick of Prosperity, Hiram (Mary) Chadwick Jr. of Washington and Paul (Carol) Chadwick of Amity; a sister, Shirley (Kenneth) Barnhart of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two nephews, Donald and David Chadwick. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, with the Rev. Thomas H. Clymer officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
