Genevieve Marie Lowery, 70, of Washington, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2005, in her residence, following a five-year illness. She was born April 30, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of Ralph Edwin and Viola Mae Gallagher Anderson. Mrs. Lowery attended Trinity High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting angels, cooking, gambling and playing bingo. She played dartball for Alpine and Polish Clubs. Mrs. Lowery attended Friendship Community Church. Surviving are 3 sons, John Lowery of Canonsburg, and Dan and Dario Bazzoli, both of Washington; two daughters, Cecelia Clark and Belinda Lowery, both of Washington; two sisters, Norma Jean Cooper and Margaret Shuba, both of Washington; eight grandchildren, Joshua Lowery, Jessica and Jeremy Piatt, John Lowery Jr., Telina Villars, Jennifer Richardson, Rudy Burgles and Cory Seaman. Deceased are a sister, Ruth Ann Anderson; and a brother, Ralph "Sonny" Anderson Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Monday, October 31, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. David R. Price officiating.
