Viola Mae Porter Fullerton

February 16, 1916 — October 5, 2005

Viola Mae Porter Fullerton, 89, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 5, 2005, in her home. She was born in Burgettstown on February 16, 1916, a daughter of Perry A. and Fannie Louetta Walker Porter. Mrs. Porter had worked many years as a sales clerk at Ralph's Superette in Washington and later at the Gabby Market. On February 19, 1935, she married Harold Lee Fullerton, who died on September 13, 1984. Surviving are a son, Norman Duane Fullerton and his wife Dolores, of Streetsboro, Ohio;daughter-in-law Shirley Fullerton, Glen Burnie, Maryland ; seven grandchildren, Brent, Marc, Kevin, Robert, Terry, and Kathy Fullerton, Julie Trice; as well as nine great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are a son, Harold Lee Fullerton, Jr.; two brothers, Ralph and Duane Porter; and a sister Dorothy Knox. Friends of Viola Mae Porter Fullerton, 89, of Washington, who died unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 5, 2005, will be received on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family is requesting memorial donations be made to Washington Hospital Hospice, Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
