Virginia D. Hart, 81, of Bridgeville, formerly of Washington, died Monday, October 3, 2005, in Country Meadows Nursing Home, Bridgeville, following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 20, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of James and Ethel Clutter Armour.
Mrs. Hart was a graduate of Washington High School and a homemaker.
She was a member of Church of the Covenant in Washington and was actively involved in various charitable organizations.
On November 14, 1944, she married William C. Hart, who died May 21, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Lucinda "Cindy" Hart Bush of Munster, Ind., Rebecca H. Santry of Cranberry Township and Virginia L. Hart of Golden, Colo.; a brother, James (Joan) Armour of Charleroi; and four grandchildren, Katherine and Dana Santry and Jennifer and Andrew Sharp.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum, with the Rev. Joan Edgar officiating.
