Gertrude Frances Taylor, 93, of Davenport, Fla., died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2005, in Cross Roads North Central, Davenport.
She was born July 10, 1912, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of Evan Richard and Effie Hutchison Morgan.
Mrs. Taylor lived in Washington until she moved to Florida 20 years ago. She was an operating room nurse, retiring from Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was Episcopalian.
Surviving are a son, Charles E. Taylor Jr. of Davenport, Fla.; four brothers, John, Lawrence, Harry and William Morgan, all of Washington; four sisters, Mary Ann Guido of Washington, Rachel Kinkle of Morgan, N.J., Joan DePaoli of Washington and Barbara Gagich of Washington; four grandchildren, David L. (Ruth) Taylor, Richard (Tina) Taylor, Michele (Ernie) Gilespie and Mellisa Livingston; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Evan and Richard Morgan; and a sister, Margaret Richmond.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, with the Rev. Karen B. Stevenson officiating. Burial to follow in Washington Cemetery.
