Patricia Jean Brooks

Worked for George Washington Hotel, Washington Restaurant. Patricia Jean Brooks, 68, of Washington, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2005, in her residence, following a two-year illness. She was born Sepetember 6, 1937, in Eldersville, a daughter of Henry Wilson and Mary Belle Tustin Jenkins. Mrs. Brooks was formerly employed in the laundry at George Washington Hotel and as a cook at Washington Restaurant. Her husband, David Boyd Allen, died in 1973. Surviving are three sons, David Allen, Mark Allen and Paul Allen, all of Washington; three daughters, Donna Allen, Nancy Christopher and Rhonda Morris, all of Washington; a brother, Willis Jenkins of Washington; four sisters, Juanita Snodgrass of Colliers, W.Va., Evelyn McMasters, Lydia Hartzog and Dolores McMasters, all of Washington; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Walter Jenkins. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Dana M. Hiles officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
