Donald Russell (Donnie) Randolph, 70, of Washington, died unexpectedly at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2005, in Washington Hospital. He was born March 6, 1935, in Washington, a son of Charles Edward and Amy Jane Rizor Randolph. Mr. Randoph was Baptist. He worked as a janitor at ARC in Meadow Lands and enjoyed children and watching television. Mr. Randolph was a member of Slovak Club. Surviving are two nieces, Pamela Kosek of Washington, with whom he made his home, and Liz Comer of Washington, with whom he previously lived; seven brothers, Fred Randolph of Spartanburg, S.C., John Randolph of St. Petersburg, Fla., Sam Randolph of Sarasota, Fla., Paul Marvin Randolph of St. Petersburg, Fla., Howard Randolph of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert (Shannon) Randolph and Ralph Randolph, both of Washington. Deceased are four brothers, Roger, Charles, George and Walter; five sisters, Martha Gzikowski, Cleo (Peg) Brown, Lucille Durilla, LeVera Harris and Betty Jane Randolph; and an adopted nephew, David D. Comer.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 28, with the Rev. James Inghram officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hemophilia Foundation, 116 West 32nd Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
