Betty Jane McFeely, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, in Evergreen Assisted Living. She was born November 18, 1918, in Claysville, a daughter of Wallace L. and Margaret Clemens. Mrs. McFeely had worked for 13 years at the Washington Hospital in the central supply department. She was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church for 60 years. She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her home. Her husband, Charles E. McFeely, died August 18, 1971. Surviving is a son, Robert W. McFeely of Washington. Deceased are a daughter, Sandy McFeely; a brother, Harold Eugene Clemens; and a sister, Helen White. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 29th, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Finleyville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, Mongiovi Commons, 190 Bilmar Drive, Suite 200 Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4611.
