Dorothy Ann Plymire

Dorothy Ann Plymire, 76, of Washington, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in the Washington Hospital, with her loving family at her side. She was born February 21, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Dorothy Hart Amon. Mrs. Plymire was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. For 20 years, she worked in the Trinity High School cafeteria. Mrs. Plymire was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. On October 23, 1952, she married John Francis Plymire, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gary W. and John R. Plymire; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Plymire and Karen L. Lewis; a sister, Carol Wilson, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Toya, Mindy, Cody and Melissa; and a great-grandchild, Olivia. Deceased is a sister, Jean Gregg. Private entombment was held at Washington Cemetery with Rev. Fred McCloskey Jr. officiating. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, was in charge of arrangements. .
